Ideas & Know How - Problem solutions for Panasonic TV sets
Problem: My Panasonic LCD TV always boots with a tuner program number. I have connected my HDTV receiver with a HDMI cable. After switching on i have to press the input source button to select the correct HDMI input signal. How can i change the panasonic default values to start with the HDMI input signal automatically?
Answer: Yes, this is possible. You can change the default input signal in a special service setup menu. Please contact your Panasonic dealer.
Problem: After about one year of recording TV shows on an external hard drive I couldn’t access my recordings anymore. I tried the usual things (power off, disconnect), but without success. Model number TX-L32EW30.
Solution: I had to re-format the external hard drive (of course all my recorded shows were lost). After that I could record and access the recordings again.
Problem: My Panasonic Recoder DMR-EH65 shows errow message XHOLD in the display. What`s this?
Solution: The panasonic child protection mode is activated. Hold down the buttons ENTER + RETURN until the XHOLD Message turns off.
Problem: Our Panasonic recorder does not react to commands from the remote control. Display shows DVD2.
Solution: If the recorder does not respond to the signal from the remote control, you have accidentally changed the infrared operating level to DVD2. Hold down the buttons ENTER + 1 for 3seconds to install the operating level back to DVD1.
Problem: My remote control Panasonic EUR7729KC0 doesn`t work. I have checked the operating level, but no reaction and no display info. Modell: Panasonic DMR-EH52. Remote control is ok.
Solution: Please contact your local dealer. He has to replace the sensor IR7501 / B3RAD0000092.
